Location

Albion Park is a suburb in the City of Shellharbour.

The term”Albion” is an ancient name of Great Britain, around 1815 the original grant owner gave Albion Park its name.

Set in a semi rural well watered area that was cleared of its cedar trees in the late 1880’s, our suburb of Albion Park was soon recognized by graziers for its potential for good farming. The town began to grow once the road through Macquarie Pass to the Southern Highlands was completed in 1887.

The Illawarra Highway runs through Albion Park and joins the Princes Highway north of our suburb. We also have the Illawarra escarpment to the west, Dapto to the north, Jamberoo to the south and Shellharbour to the east.

We claim to be a Catholic primary school out in the country with its farmlands and new housing estates surrounding us, harbouring its rich history and traditions of the community of Albion Park.

We at St Paul’s Catholic Parish Primary School value the space in this semi rural community and immerse ourselves into the community through work and play.
